Danish coffee: the roasters to know

Danish baristas won four of the first seven World Barista Championships, in 2001, 2002, 2005 and 2006. From that generation came roasters such as Coffee Collective and La Cabra, which the trade press sees as the model of the Scandinavian style: coffee bought on fair terms and roasted lightly.

La Cabra Founded 2011, Aarhus A coffee roaster and bakery founded in Aarhus in 2011, with cafés in Denmark, New York, Bangkok and Muscat.
