Why it is renowned

The MK1, a cargo trike that tilts into turns, was covered by the British cycling site road.cc and the design magazine designboom when it launched in 2014.12 The company lists more than 180 dealers around the world.3

The story

The Danish design engineers Morten Wagener, Morten Mogensen and Jakob Munk developed the MK1 in Copenhagen's meatpacking district, which gave the company its name.2 Their aim was a cargo bike with the space of a trike that rides like an ordinary bicycle.1 Design, development, assembly and service are done in-house, and the company now has a showroom in Odense.43
