Why it is renowned
New Atlas reported the Mk1-e in January 2014 as the electric-assist version of the Mk1 leaning cargo trike, with a 250-watt centre-mounted motor and a 12-Ah lockable battery.1 In 2020 DOWNTOWN tested the MK1-E Automatic, the only trike in its cargo-bike test, calling it one of the coolest cargo bikes on the market and the only one that could carry up to four children with a second bench, while finding its handling nervous at slow speeds.2
