The story

Sofie Refer, Nadia Lassen and Peter Østerberg founded Nuura in 2017; the name means light and honour.3 Refer, a Danish lighting designer, designed its Miira collection: a chandelier that grows into a full series of lamps.13 The collections start from the chandelier and use shades of glass blown by hand, each one slightly different, with LED light sources.34 Its head office and showroom are in a historic building in Frederiksstaden in central Copenhagen, next to the Marble Church.3
