The story

The brand takes its name from its designer, Helene Hjorth: hjorth means deer in Danish.⁴ She and her team design every product in-house in Denmark: toys, tableware and interiors for babies and toddlers, all tested to European safety standards.⁴ The range is built around the Deer Friends, a cast of animal characters who appear across its products.⁴ The Tiny Activity Toys of 2018 were made for a baby's first months, small enough for tiny hands to grip.¹ The company, Done by Deer A/S, is based in Silkeborg.⁵
