Why it is renowned
Tiny Activity Toys won the Red Dot Award: Product Design 2018, chosen from about 6,300 entries from 59 countries; it was Done by Deer’s fifth Red Dot.1 The jury wrote that the toys are made with care and wake a baby’s urge to explore.2
The story
Done by Deer’s design team made the set to train a baby’s fine motor skills in the first months.1 Each toy is meant for one stage: a soft Croco sensory rattle for two to four months, a teething rattle with a textured chewing ring for three to five months, and a string rattle with an Antee handle for four to six months.13 They are discreetly coloured and easy to grasp and shake.2 The toys are cotton with polyester filling and a teether of TPE, and are sold together as a gift set.3
