Why it is renowned

The story

POPL stands on a corner by the water in Christianshavn.2 The name comes from the Latin populus, a community of people, and from poplar wood.2 Local, seasonal produce meets the work of Noma's fermentation lab in its burgers, and a takeaway shop on the corner sells them to eat along the harbour.3 The rooms were designed by the Copenhagen architects Spacon & X.1
