The story

Coco Hotel opened in 2019 in an old building on Vesterbrogade in Vesterbro, the first hotel of the Copenhagen restaurant group Cofoco.1 Cofoco, the Copenhagen Food Collective, has run restaurants in Copenhagen since 2004.5 The Danish group owns the hotel, its sister Hotel Bella Grande in the city centre and nineteen restaurants in Copenhagen.6 The building holds 89 rooms around a green courtyard.6 Since 2018 Cofoco has drawn its power from its own solar park at Nees in North Jutland, and the hotel runs on it too.6 Coco Café on the ground floor serves coffee, breakfast and an all-day menu, and in the evening it becomes a bar known for its natural wines.61 In 2022 the Coco Bar à Vin opened in the courtyard, with more than 30 natural and organic wines by the glass.1
