Why it is renowned
The German automobile club ADAC put the Triobike Cargo through its 2022 test of electric cargo bikes, where it scored an overall 2.6, "befriedigend".1 Triobike builds it to carry up to 230 kg in all.2
The story
It is made by Triobike A/S of Copenhagen.1 Its aluminium frame is made in one piece, with side wings bent in three dimensions, and it runs on puncture-free tyres with hydraulic disc brakes.2 The electric version uses a Brose Drive S mid motor with 90 Nm of torque, and the front wheel turns further to the right for tight spaces.2 Plywood panels, seats, hoods, a box for two children and a lockable flight-case box fit the deck.2
