Why it is renowned
BIG is the size that brings the Plus-Plus shape to the youngest children: at 50 by 30 millimetres, its pieces are made for children from one year old, where the original piece is for children from five.1
The story
BIG uses the same single shape as the original Plus-Plus piece, which looks like two plus signs joined,2 scaled up from 20 by 12 to 50 by 30 millimetres.1 The pieces are made from LDPE, a tough and flexible plastic, in the company’s own factory in Holbæk, which runs on wind power.1 They can be recycled.1
