Why it is renowned
Jordnær received its third Michelin star on 27 May 2024, at the Nordic ceremony in Helsinki, seven years after it opened.1 It was No. 56 on The World's 50 Best Restaurants' extended list in 2025.2
The story
The married couple Tina and Eric Kragh Vildgaard opened Jordnær in late April 2017 in the newly renovated Gentofte Hotel, just north of Copenhagen.1 Ten months later, on 19 February 2018, it received its first Michelin star; the second came on 17 February 2020.1
