Why it is renowned
Villa Vest has held one Michelin star since the 2023 edition of the Michelin Guide and keeps it in 2026.1 It is one of 42 restaurants in Denmark with a star in the 2026 guide, which covers Denmark together with Finland, Iceland, Norway and Sweden in one Nordic edition.1
The story
Villa Vest stands at the end of the street in Lønstrup, an old fishing village on the North Sea, past the craft workshops and fishermen's houses; it runs a classic seaside hotel alongside the restaurant.2 The dining room looks straight out to sea, and the kitchen lets food and view share the evening.3
