Why it is renowned
A. Roege Hove won the Wessel & Vett Prize in 2021 and the Karl Lagerfeld Award for Innovation at the International Woolmark Prize in 2023.1 Vogue has reviewed its collections at Copenhagen Fashion Week, and called it one of the city's most talked-about labels in its spring 2025 review.23
The story
Amalie Røge Hove designs and develops every collection in her Copenhagen studio.13 The label began with a small range of knitted accessories and bags, and moved from there to ready-to-wear built on traditional knitting techniques.1
In October 2023 she closed the label, in part because retailers had not paid for their orders; with new investors it came back for spring 2025, keeping its ribbed knits and adding sheer layers and more structured shapes.3
