Why it is renowned
The Arv table was made for noma in Copenhagen.1 For the tables in noma's main dining room, the makers sourced a 300-year-old tree that had lain 200 years under water before it was pulled ashore.2
The story
René Redzepi asked David Thulstrup to design a new home for noma and a series of furniture for it, and Thulstrup worked with Brdr. Krüger on the Arv collection.1 The table has a slender, smooth top and comes round or square, with the same branch-like joinery as the Arv chair.12 The chair's armrest slides under the table top.1 The table is made in oak, white, oiled or fumed, and Brdr. Krüger offers it in other woods and sizes for projects.1
