Why it is renowned

The X EVO is the updated MATE X, MATE's folding e-bike.1 Reviewing the MATE X, the Australian magazine GadgetGuy praised its minimal design, its motor hidden in the rear wheel and its battery hidden in the frame, and wrote that its testers fell in love with it on the first ride.2

The story

MATE describes the X EVO as an enhanced MATE X, with upgraded suspension and a torque sensor.1 A 250 W rear-drive motor supports speeds of up to 25 km/h, and its battery gives a range of up to 120 km, depending on the road and the rider.1 It folds, and is meant for both city streets and off-road trails.1
