Why it is renowned
The Dog is the Nihola cargo tricycle made for carrying dogs.1 Its aluminium front door opens, so a dog can walk into the box and out again on its own.1 The cabin is 50 cm high, up to 88 cm long and 62 cm wide, and the bike carries 100 kg on top of its rider.1
The story
The Dog shares one manual with the Nihola Family.1 The frame is hand-built in Denmark and powder-coated black, with extra steel bars across the box; the box floor and seat post are aluminium, and the steering has a hydraulic damper.1 It comes with a Shimano Nexus 8-speed hub, with a coaster brake or a freewheel and V-brakes, in eight box colours.1
