Why it is renowned

ECOOKING launched in Britain in 2018, when it was already stocked in more than 450 places in Denmark and set to reach another 20 countries by the end of that year.¹ Gebr. Heinemann took it into its airport shops, including Frankfurt and Hamburg, and the brand opened a flagship store on the Chinese marketplace JD.com.² It has since promoted its skincare in China through livestream sales, part of them broadcast from the Danish Embassy in Beijing.³

The story

Tina Søgaard had worked in skincare for more than 20 years when, after a divorce, she began mixing creams, serums and oils at her kitchen table from ingredients she brought home from the laboratory. Friends and family took the first products home in jam jars and schnapps glasses, and ECOOKING was founded in 2015.⁴ The name joins ecological and cooking.¹ The range now counts more than 100 products for face, body and hair and a makeup line; most are allergy-certified, dermatologically tested and vegan, and most come with or without perfume.⁵ The formulas are developed and produced in Denmark.⁶
