Why it is renowned

Raidho launched the TD3.10 at High End Munich in May 2025 as its new reference floorstander, the successor to the TD3.8, and the hi-fi news site StereoNET put it at the top of the company's largest launch to date.1 Its two 10-inch diamond-coated bass drivers are, by the maker's account, the largest used in any production speaker.12

The story

The TD3.10 is built on the platform of the TD3.8. It is a three-way bass-reflex tower: the Raidho planar-magnetic ribbon tweeter sits between two 5.25-inch TD midrange drivers, and two 10-inch diamond-coated bass drivers take the speaker down to 20 Hz.2 The crossover divides at 240 Hz and 2.7 kHz with second- and fourth-order slopes, using Mundorf parts, air-core inductors and polypropylene capacitors, and the internal wiring is Nordost Norse.2

The cabinet is made of curved CNC-milled panels laid with hand-matched walnut burl veneer. Each goes through eight stages of sanding and sixteen coats of high-gloss lacquer, and every veneer panel is numbered so that the left and right speakers of a pair match.2 It is also made in black piano lacquer.1
