Why it is renowned
Raidho launched the X2t 25th Anniversary at High End Munich in May 2025 as a limited run of 100 individually numbered pairs, each with a certificate of authenticity.12 The British magazine The Ear reviewed it and counted it among the most capable and least coloured compact floorstanding speakers, praising its imaging and its book-matched burl veneer.3
The story
The edition is based on the X2, one of Raidho's most successful models, with an updated crossover and Furutech binding posts.2 It is a 2.5-way design: the Raidho ribbon tweeter, with its 11-micron foil, sits above two 5.25-inch Ceramix drivers whose cones now carry a tantalum coating.23 The crossover uses Mundorf parts and the internal wiring is by Nordost.13
The cabinet is a metre tall and narrow at the front, with tapering sides in high-gloss Walnut Burl, Emerald Green or Midnight Blue, finned reflex ports on its flanks and outrigger feet.23 Foam blocks supplied with it plug the ports to suit the room.3 The regular X2t is made alongside the limited edition.2
