Why it is renowned

Bach & Nurup won its first Michelin star in the 2026 edition of the Michelin Guide.1 It is one of 42 restaurants in Denmark with a star in the 2026 guide, which covers Denmark together with Finland, Iceland, Norway and Sweden in one Nordic edition.1

The story

Bach & Nurup opened on Budolfi Plads in central Aalborg, with a kitchen drawn from the energy of New York, French cooking and Japanese form.2 It serves coffee and lunch as well as a gourmet evening menu, and has a dining bar for guests eating alone.2
