Why it is renowned

Elhanati has made two jewellery collaborations with Khaite, the New York fashion house.1 Wallpaper* covered the second, eleven pieces in gold-coated silver set with black spinels.2 In 2024 it showed cutlery and objects made with Conie Vallese at Villa Borsani during Alcova in Milan.1 In 2025 it was named Jewelry Brand of the Year at the Elle awards.1

The story

Orit Elhanati was raised in Denmark and has roots in the Middle East and Greece.3 She started the house under her own name in 2013.4 Its pieces are made by hand by goldsmiths in its Copenhagen workshop, in 18 carat gold with natural diamonds.5 She melts, drips and hammers the gold to leave a textured surface, and many collections are named after places such as the Sinai desert, Siwa Oasis and Capri.3 The atelier and boutique are at Bredgade 65 in Copenhagen.5
