Why it is renowned
Vogue has reviewed five of Soulland's collections at Copenhagen Fashion Week, from fall 2022 to fall 2024.1 Its clothes are sold through its own site and by stores abroad.2
The story
Soulland was founded in Copenhagen in 2002 and grew out of graffiti and skateboarding.2 Its designer, Silas Adler, is a skateboarder who became a designer; in 2022 he marked twenty years in business with a show titled Original Memory, the last of a trilogy, held in a former locomotive workshop.3
The label makes gender-free clothes from materials sourced in Italy, France and Portugal, much of it from factories certified to the Global Organic Textile Standard.2
