Why it is renowned

Designers Remix builds its women's collections by redesigning, remixing and upcycling deadstock fabrics and garments.1 Vogue carries its fall 2013 ready-to-wear and Copenhagen fall 2015 collections on its runway pages.2 Vogue Scandinavia reviewed its spring/summer 2022 show, drawn from the colours of David Hockney's paintings and shown on a rooftop basketball court.3

The story

The label was founded in Copenhagen in 2002 around the idea of making full use of existing resources by redesigning, remixing and upcycling deadstock fabrics and garments.1 Charlotte and Niels Eskildsen are its founders and owners.1 Charlotte Eskildsen is the brand's creative director.3 The company trades as Designers Remix A/S from an address on Toldbodgade in Copenhagen K, Denmark.4
