Why it is renowned
Baum und Pferdgarten is sold in more than 30 countries through about 400 shops, and online.1 It has dressed Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden, and Vogue Scandinavia reviewed its Autumn/Winter 2025 show.1 In 2024 it made a capsule of sneakers with the American shoe company Etonic, shown on its runway that season.1
The story
Rikke Baumgarten and Helle Hestehave met at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts and started the label in Nørrebro in 1999, soon after they graduated.1
The house is based on Amaliegade in central Copenhagen, with a flagship on Vognmagergade that opened in February 2010.1 Its collections pair tailoring with strong colour and prints.2 It showed its Spring/Summer 2027 collection at Copenhagen Fashion Week in August 2026.3
