Why it is renowned

The table is an ultra-thin round top on slender legs, with sharp edges and soft curves; its designers call these details subtle but essential.12 Sibast Furniture presented the aluminium edition at 3daysofdesign 2026 in Copenhagen.2 It comes in two heights, Inverse Medium and Inverse Small, to stand alone or as a pair in lounges, lobbies, hospitality spaces and private interiors.1

The story

Inverse was designed by Steffensen & Würtz, the studio the Danish industrial designers Thomas Bertram Steffensen and Pia Würtz Zinck Mogensen founded in 2015; both hold master's degrees in industrial design and worked freelance before joining forces.1 The aluminium table dates from 2026 and adds a new material to the Inverse collection.13 Like the rest of the Sibast range, it is made to order in the company's own carpentry.1
