Why it is renowned
The Montana System is built from 36 basic modules in four depths, combined to suit the room.1 It comes in 43 colours developed with the Danish designer and colour specialist Margrethe Odgaard.1 In 2019 it received the EU Ecolabel.1
The story
Peter J. Lassen designed the system.1 It is made of 12 mm MDF, and the modules come in several heights and widths.1 A combination can stand on a plinth, legs or castors or hang on the wall, and shelves, back panels, handles, legs and castors can be changed later.1 Every module is designed and made in Denmark, on Funen.1
