Why it is renowned

Marcipankugler take the marzipan ball, a classic Christmas favourite, and sell it in bags all year round.¹

The story

The balls are made from marzipan produced in Odense.¹ The pink original uses Original ODENSE Marcipan with 63 percent almonds; the licorice, salted caramel and lemon versions use marzipan with 50 percent almonds.¹ Each ball is coated in dark chocolate, or white chocolate for the licorice version, and finished with a crisp coloured sugar shell.¹
