Why it is renowned
In a 2024 article written after meeting Woods Copenhagen at the CIFF trade show in Copenhagen, the Italian Scimparello Magazine named the Ultra-Rich Cream among the house's standout products.1
The story
Woods made the cream for dry and very dry skin and for a weakened skin barrier.2 Its formula holds 3% niacinamide, 2% vitamin C, natural hyaluronic acid and organic plant oils, which make up 29% of the cream, among them blueberry oil, with lipids from microalgae.2 The oils are drawn into the skin, so it dries to a matte, satin-like finish rather than a shine.2 With its low pH, Woods recommends it for eczema, rosacea and perioral dermatitis, and as an evening cream beside the lighter Daily Hydra Cream in the morning.2 It is sold in a 75 ml size and made in Denmark.2
