Why it is renowned
The Silverback 1 won the EISA Award for wireless on-wall loudspeakers of 2023-2024.1 The British magazines Hi-Fi News, Hi-Fi Choice and Home Cinema Choice have reviewed its Silverback speakers,2 and dealers sell them in more than twenty countries, among them the United Kingdom, Germany, France, the United States, Canada, India, Korea and Singapore.3
The story
Ole Witthøft built his first speaker in 1984, wanting music at home to sound as alive as in a concert hall, and System Audio grew from that.4 All its speakers are designed in Roskilde.4 The Silverback range is wireless: a pair of active speakers and a hub replace the separate amplifier and cables of a traditional system.52
