Why it is renowned

Royal Castle is the first of the designs Jacobsens shows among the examples of its own tins on its home page.1 It comes in two sizes, a 1 kg tin of Danish cookies and a 200 g tin of butter and chocolate chip cookies.2

Jacobsens fills the Royal Castle tins with cookies baked in Hedensted, Denmark, from fresh butter and natural ingredients, without preservatives, in five classic shapes.1
