Why it is renowned
Pitti Uomo, the menswear fair in Florence, chose Sunflower as a guest designer for its June 2026 edition, a special project with Copenhagen Fashion Week for the latter's 20th anniversary; the label was invited to unveil its spring 2027 collection there in a runway show.1 Highsnobiety names it among the Danish clothing brands to know.2
The story
Ulrik Pedersen founded Sunflower in Copenhagen in 2018, and the label is known for its take on traditional menswear and pieces to build a wardrobe on.1 It is designed in the city by a collective that set out to make lasting garments in understated designs that layer well, with close attention to fabric.2 Its collections take in denim, outerwear, shirts, leather and accessories; the autumn and winter 2026 collection is its sixteenth.3
