Why it is renowned

In the United Kingdom the trade paper Drapers named Mos Mosh Womenswear Brand of the Year at its Independents Awards; more than 80 British shops stocked it at the time.1 The label is sold in 26 countries.2

The story

Kim Hyldahl founded Mos Mosh in 2010, starting at his kitchen table with seven pairs of jeans and one salesperson.1 He aimed at American denim fits with Italian detailing.3 It sold first to independent shops across Denmark, then in Norway, Sweden and the Netherlands.1 For its first two or three years it made mainly jeans; it now makes a complete collection, from jeans to jackets.1
