The story
Peated 1st Edition was the first whisky Stauning distilled, though its fourth bottling.2 It was a single malt of malted barley, dried with smoke from peat dug by the Klosterlund Museum, and stored in first-fill ex-bourbon casks from Maker's Mark.2 It came in 50 cl bottles at 62.8% ABV, and all 715 bottles sold out.2
