Why it is renowned

Kähler counts Omaggio among its biggest design successes of recent years; it caught on soon after its launch in 2008 and is popular with design enthusiasts around the world.1

The story

Ditte Reckweg and Jelena Schou Nordentoft, who work together as Stilleben, designed the series.1 Both trained in ceramics and glass at the Danish Design School and graduated in 2001.1 Omaggio came out in 2008.1 The vases have soft, organic shapes, and the bands of colour around them are painted by hand.1 The series runs from miniature vases to a vase 31 cm tall.1
