Why it is renowned

Tommelise was one of the eating chocolates from Toms' first factory on Prags Boulevard, chocolate made to break with a clean snap and melt on the tongue.1

The story

In 1924 most Danes still drank their chocolate, made at home from packets of cooking chocolate. With its first factory on Prags Boulevard in Amager, Toms set out to make eating chocolate, blending, refining, conching and tempering cocoa mass and cocoa butter to get the right structure.1 Tommelise was one of the varieties Danes could soon buy from Toms Fabrikker.1
