Why it is renowned
CALM balm won the Niche Award of the Year at the Danish Beauty Awards in 2010.1 Scandinavia Standard names the multipurpose calming balm among the heavy hitters of the Karmameju range.2
The story
The balm is made for dry, sensitive and irritated skin and is meant for the whole family, from chapped lips and elbows to cuticles and hair ends.3 Its base is shea butter with argan, meadowfoam, sea buckthorn and calendula oils, and the essential oils of kanuka, Roman chamomile and lavender give it its calming scent.3 It is vegan, made entirely on plant oils and preserved naturally with vitamin E.3 It comes in an 83 g jar and an 18.5 g travel size.31 For skin that should avoid essential oils, Karmameju makes SOUL balm, the same balm without perfume.3
