Why it is renowned
In a Who What Wear guide to beauty in Copenhagen, Sidsel Alling, a photographer and contributing editor at Elle Denmark, named Miild among the Danish skincare brands and singled out its contour and blush sticks.1 The British beauty site Get the Gloss reviewed the range in 2019 for readers with sensitive skin.2
The story
Miild was started by the Danish makeup artists Tine Emilie Svendsen and Tanja Gregersen, who both have severe skin allergies and built the range around what they could wear themselves.2 It began as certified organic mineral makeup carrying three labels: Ecocert COSMOS, the Nordic Swan Ecolabel and AllergyCertified.2 Today every Miild product is allergy certified, vegan and fragrance-free.3 The range covers makeup, skincare and brushes,4 and the company behind it, Grænn A/S, is based on Nørre Voldgade in Copenhagen.5

Stay Tubed Length Mascara A tubing mascara from Miild that coats each lash in a flexible film and comes off with warm water.
