Why it is renowned
SKOG is a Skandinavisk candle named with the Swedish and Norwegian word for forest.1 It is scented with pine needles and fir cones, birch sap and woodland lily of the valley.1
The story
The candle is poured in sustainably farmed, non-GMO Swedish rapeseed wax blended with essential oils and safe synthetic fragrances on a pure cotton wick; the 350g size burns about 50 hours.1 It is designed in Denmark and made in France, in partially recycled, dishwasher-proof painted glass produced in the EU, with an FSC-certified wooden lid.1 The name refers to the boreal forests that cover over half the Scandinavian lands.1
