Skandinavisk makes scented candles, perfumes and body care built around Scandinavian nature, and sells them across Europe and North America through country stores from Britain and Germany to the United States.1 It has been a certified B Corporation since 2019, part of a network of more than 6,000 B Corps across 80 countries.2
The story
Skandinavisk was started in Copenhagen in 2012 by Shaun Russell,3 later joined by Gerry; the two built the house around scents drawn from the Nordic region.4 Its candles carry Scandinavian names such as HYGGE, FJORD and SKOG.5
