Why it is renowned
The Leaves collection is Charlotte Lynggaard's jewellery after the shapes of real foliage. It began with the Midnight Tiara, made for a large exhibition at Amalienborg Palace and later worn by Queen Mary of Denmark.1
The story
Charlotte Lynggaard designed the collection as a range of hand-made pieces after the shapes of natural foliage.1 The pendants each hold a single leaf and come in several lengths, among them 4.5 cm and 6.5 cm, in 18 carat yellow or rose gold.23 Master goldsmiths shape and finish the surface of each leaf by hand with several techniques and tools.23
