Why it is renowned
The twins Amalie and Cecilie Moosgaard designed a capsule collection with Net-a-Porter in 2024, and LIÉ STUDIO is sold at Bergdorf Goodman in New York and Harvey Nichols in London.1 Writing on that five-piece capsule, Vogue Scandinavia placed LIÉ STUDIO among the most popular Scandinavian jewellery labels.2 Who What Wear devoted a feature to its earrings, necklaces and rings and called the brand a success with the fashion set.3
The story
The twin sisters Amalie and Cecilie Moosgaard founded LIÉ STUDIO in Copenhagen in late 2021, after years working in fashion.4 It started with jewellery and has since added leather goods and eyewear.4 The jewellery is made in silver and gold, some of it with beads.5 Its first flagship store opened at Vognmagergade 9 in central Copenhagen, in a building from 1914, fitted out with the Danish architect Julius Nielsen.6
