Why it is renowned

Special Edition No. 1 won a gold medal at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition.1 The Aalborg magazine Mig og Aalborg dates the gold to 2015.2

The story

Nordisk Brænderi released its first whisky on 29 November 2013, the 51st birthday of its distiller Anders Bilgram.3 It was sold through certificates, and on the day of release their holders collected their bottles at the distillery.3
